Atlanta Horror Film FEstival
Georgia’s original horror film festival, founded in 2006, Atlanta Horror has spent twenty years supporting indie horror and giving filmmakers a place to share their work with a real community. As we hit our 20th anniversary, we’re keeping the focus on what has always mattered most: strong films, packed rooms, and an easy space for filmmakers to meet each other.
We screen all kinds of horror. Psychological stories, supernatural scares, dark comedies, creature features, and the odd things that don’t fit anywhere else. Big productions and tiny shorts both work here as long as the film has a clear voice.
Filmmakers submit because the festival is straightforward, fair, and fun. You’ll meet other creators, talk shop, and enjoy a weekend that feels relaxed and supportive. The crowds are responsive, and the whole event makes it simple to connect, find collaborators, and be part of a long running horror community in Georgia.
If you want your film seen by people who understand horror and enjoy the experience as much as the films, Atlanta Horror Film Festival is the perfect fit.
