Atlanta Underground Film Festival champions films that don’t fit the usual mold. For almost twenty five years, AUFF has been a home for work that is bold, strange, personal, experimental, or completely unclassifiable. If your film doesn’t sit cleanly in traditional categories or you’re exploring ideas in a way that feels different, this is where it will be understood.

We look for short and feature films made with intention and a clear voice. We welcome underground stories, outsider art, experimental projects, DIY filmmaking, and anything that pushes past safe choices. When you submit to AUFF, your film is judged for what it is, not what it should be, and it screens for an audience that shows up ready to discover something unexpected.
